*Boy - well you'll have to take all your clothes off.....

ewww...

No, YD is not naked but did manage to join #1Son in the 'pool' on the weekend.
Well its big enough for the boys to paddle in & get wet!

1 week before

1 week before both my boys are off to school......

#1Son is still struggling with his writing -low muscle tone makes it hard for him & since its hard he's just not interested. Great finger control when playing computer games tho!

My little *Boy will be heading to Prep. He's sooo ready & I'm pretty sure he'll enjoy it but....well he's my baby, I hope he's going to be ok. He has started drawing wonderful pictures, without any prompting (no problems for him in that area) and yesterday did a lovely heart collage for me...aww!
I've recently noticed he has been saying "C'baus" instead of "because". Should I correct him or let him go one saying it cos I think its cute? Have I mentioned his kisses? He's a charmer -takes your face in his little hands, pulls you close and plants a whopper on them! Bliss!

Bits to remember

At the start of November 2009......

I've been Face Painting for 2 yrs and am very happy to have found such a great job.



#1 Son has decided he wants to be a pilot when he grows up. He wants to fly the Thunderbird's O.X. spaceship.

He now seems to believe you can make anything you can think of -today's request was for YD to 'make' him a digger to dig up the rocks at school..... I blame this symesters toy building project at school.




*Boy thinks he wants to be a teacher -great thinking son, never have too many male teachers! Not sure if he has the temprement tho....

He has been marked as a potential husband by one of the girls, Bianca, who will be in his prep class next year (who is also one of the sisters of a boy in #1's yr).

*Boy has already worked out that Google finds stuff for you - he having a good go at spelling stuff too.....have to get that filter up and working!

size always matters...

The boys were showering with YD the other night.

"dad can I touch your balls?"
"why?"
"well they're EE-noorrr-mous!" "will mine grow that big?"
"they might"
"but I've only got one...."

of course this comment caused instant concern and had to be checked by YD....relief, his boy's ok and does definately have two little balls down there!

the biggest number

There are things from time to time I keep thinking I must record or they will be forgotten amidst the cycle of my boys growing up.

Today I want to mention #1Son's seeming belief the the biggest number evah is 131.

I'm not sure why he thinks this but whenever he wants to express some huge amount it is always 131. He does seem to know how to count past 131 and he knows about 1000 but always returns to the magic 131 figure......
