This morning we looked on proudly as #1Son participated in the yr1 presentation during the mornings church service. It was his 1st time at the podium and he was the 1st speaker in his class but after a few nervous glances around he delivered his few lines and stepped down.
He did so well. Quite amazing to think he has only been making his 1st steps into a lifetime of reading only since February and there he is standing up in church reading in May!
Afterwards we had a yr1 picnic on the oval by the Jnr playground. It was a lovely time to catch up and meet some new parents in other classes and the weather was a perfect autumn day.
